Dr. J. Colby Smith
Dr. J. Colby Smith is a native Texan and was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in Kingsville. After high school, he attended The University of Texas at Austin and graduated with honors in 1982 with a BA in biology. He earned his dental degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and graduated in 1986. A one-year General Practice Residency, which was completed in 1987, took him to St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.
Since then, Dr. Smith has been practicing in the Round Rock/Austin area and enjoys all phases of restorative and cosmetic dentistry. He has been married to his wife, Carol, for over 20 years and they have five children: four boys and one girl. Outside the dental office, Dr. Smith is busy with school and sports events for his children, is a long-time active member of Great Hills Baptist Church, and when he can, enjoys fishing, hunting, golf, tennis, and just about all outdoor activities.
